After World War I the United States benefited greatly. Many countries owed money to the United States. The war caused many new things to be invented and technology was improved.
New jobs were created and people didn’t have to be as educated to perform them. With the better technology things could be produced cheaper and at a greater scale. Cars were considered a luxury a decade ago, now they were in almost every home. People began to be reliant on cars as they are with cell phones today.
