While listening to the presentations given, the three books that most struck my interest were, For Whom the Bell Tolls, written by Ernest Hemmingway, Gone With the Wind, written by Margaret Mitchell and Black Boy written by Richard Wright. During the presentations of those three novels it became evident that each one was full of excitement and therefore would be most captivating to me. Additionally, each of the three authors seemingly included in the novels aspects of their personal background
