	Defining Race The central idea of this defining race is that the way in which we define race in our American Culture is not as easy as it once was. Americans have always been prone to classifying themselves into specific groups and races. What this DVD tries to teach is that we are not part of one specific group, rather a mixture of many. The DVD is broken up into six main sections. The first section is the prologue in which the narrator speaks about race relations in America today.
