	Should school hours be extended?
	In June and July of 2003, the Prime Minister, Mr. Howard, proposed that school hours should be extended to provide after school care for children whose parents are both in the workforce. After school ends in a traditional sense, you can have a bit more supervised school activities. You could have some supervised homework so that the time that parents spend with their children at night is not bedeviled by arguments over homework.
