Alfred Hitchcock's "The Birds"

I don’t think I’ve ever watched a real classic movie before in my life. Hitchcock’s The Birds seemed like the perfect opportunity to fuse something unfamiliar – an old movie, done in a style alien to me – with something familiar – I love horror movies and am pretty familiar with the genre.
The movie’s initial simplicity is almost deceptive. Hitchcock distracts the viewer from the main plot with superficial subtext. He puts his main characters in the middle of a love triangle we’ve all seen
