In what ways could UK’s parliamentary system said to be undemocratic?

The system of government in the UK is archaic as it has evolved over the centuries. A system that evolves over a long period is inherently complex and appears undemocratic in parts. It is however unfair to describe it as totally undemocratic as it is greatly regarded as an example of what a democratic system should be in most of the democratic world. There are remnants of heredity privilege, like the House of Lords but there are checks and balances to overcome these inequities.
