*CNS ~ Central Nervous System ~ composed of the brain and the spinal cord.
*PNS ~ Peripheral Nervous System ~ the somatic and the autonomic nervous system.
Autonomic = automatic! Self regulated actions of organs and glands. Sympathetic = energizes/activates body. Parasympathetic = calms the body. Somatic = voluntary actions.
The Endocrine System; glands that regulate reproduction, metabolism, mood and some behaviors.
