	Grapesof Wrath
	Often, two people with very different views will form a relationship and afterwards, will be altered people. This is apparent in The Grapes of Wrath, John Steinbeck’s powerful novel about the Oklahoman people and their struggles during the Great Depression. The characters of Tom Joad and Jim Casy are two quite different people. During the course of the novel, they form a close bond and towards the end, they are no longer the same people they were prior to knowing each other.
