Feste in Twelfth Night
Feste, although not being a major character, plays a big role in Twelfth Night. Shakespeare uses this character to give an outsider’s impression of the other characters, such as a narrator would do. Feste does not narrate in the play but he moves freely between the characters and comments on their behaviour as someone in the audience might.
