INTRODUCTION
Indeed Zimbabwe’s exports have fallen by 40% if not more since 1997. What makes the whole issue frightening is that the trend is still continuing in this downward direction. The fall in export volumes is a result of variety of factors some of which are of our own-making whist some are due external market forces.
