Hypnotism is practice of hypnosis. Hypnosis is a state like deep sleep in which a person's actions may be controlled by another person i.e. put a person under hypnosis. Person who practices hypnotism is called hypnotist. It is not necessary to have any particular type of personality to be a hypnotist. Any man or woman of average intelligence can learn to hypnotise others, but indefinable elements in one man's personality will enable him to become successful hypnotist, just as one man
