	AO3 Baptising babies is pointless! I think that baptising babies is pointless for a number of different reasons. The first being is that the child doesn’t understand the meaning of baptism. The child is lying in its mums arms not knowing what is going on. He/she doesn’t even understand English and hasn’t got a clue what the priest or anyone else is saying.
