I chose this speech as I feel it reveals the malice and wickedness that is Iago. Shakespeare exposes the true mentality of Iago to the audience in this scene, as he plots his revenge upon Othello. I feel that this soliloquy is imperative for Shakespeare’s Othello as it creates suspense for the audience and illustrates the character of Iago.
