Gothic COnventions of Deathnote and composer's attitudes and values reflected

I’ve chosen the anime series of ‘Deathnote’ as my gothic speech subject because of its many resemblances to a tradition gothic story. Dramatic irony is displayed within the series for example, as well as a supernatural means presented in the plotline. With that, also comes the setting of night, when killings are perceived for the majority of the film.
